Places like Kohl's in Santee, they always have stuffed animals on sale that you can buy very inexpensively to donate to us.

Again, PetSmarts, go to the four PetSmarts I, I mentioned, um, sports arena, Murphy Canyon, Clairemont, and Santee.

Purchase an animal and throw it in the bin, and it'll get to me.

And by being more intentional about how we build and where we build and making sure that we're meeting people where we are, we're gonna have better outcomes.

So building from the heart out, what does that mean? So in working with, as the Clairemont Town Council president, as someone who lives in Clairemont, working with our planning group who worked with the develop-- with the Department of Planning, we actually made sure that community input was had.

And we looked at our Balboa and Genesee, for example, acres of open parking space that can be incorporated into different development.

There are certain areas that you can breach a 30-foot height limit, and that makes sense.

And top of the Mesa in the middle of a business corridor makes sense.

There are already pretty tall buildings at Clairemont Town Square, and we can incorporate those because those areas already have better infrastructure, some bus lines that can be easily enhanced with more rapid transit, and accommodate spaces that actually can fit families.

Two bedroom, three bedroom options until we work towards having opportunities for people to buy and stay in our communities.

And the topography matters.
