CK United F.C.

If he's in line, he's flagging that, I'm saying, yeah?

Justice for CK United.

Replay the game.

He's like...

Bill Tretty with two, Ephesia Ramone and Charlie Butler.

And then in the National League in Station Road in Newbridge, Newbridgetown 0, CK United 2.

Daniel McGrath and Shane Barnes.

Shane Barnes actually got the first one, Daniel McGrath got the second

So plenty to look forward to there.

But as always, we will start with CK United.

And just before I get into the men's stuff, I just want to give a shout out to young Siobhan Sinnott from the under 17s, obviously a former New York player.

She has finished top of the table, top of the charts, goal scoring charts.

But yeah, no, Darragh came in and did excellently to be fair.

With no minutes, you know, this was his first real, this was his first opportunity to really show what he could do at this level.

which was good to see um yeah he did a really really good job to be fair there and in the goal and kept them in it for large periods and yeah great day with him and the first clean sheet as well can we talk about that who are you and what have you done with ck united a clean sheet um But yeah, no.

They were very good the second half, to be fair.

Can we talk about something a bit more pure? Please.

CK United.

Yes, please.

They had a huge game next week against UCC and SETU Carlo.

Yeah.

it used to be beautiful I'd love to travel back in time and go to a game in the 50s or 60s or whatever but right now it's a dive and like you know

so clubs like CK United where this conversation started do you think overall it's been a good decision for them to get involved in this truncated season and can we see it going forward

Yes, and the thing with CK is they have very good foundations.

In Group 2, Mayo play Salt Hill Devon at 2, and Dublin Club St. Francis and TU Dublin face off at 3.

In Group 3, UCC play Clarny Celtic at 2, and Newwich Town welcome CK United at 5.

On Monday in the Premier Division there are two matches as Waterford take on Galway United at 7.45pm and St. Pat's look to get their title charges back on with a trip to the Ryan McBride manual to take on Derry City at 8 o'clock.

On Friday in the penultimate round of the Premier Division it's the big North Dublin derby as Bowes take on Shells, Derry City play Dundalk, Galway host Pat's, Waterford host Dryden United with all four of those matches kicking off at 7.45pm and finally the last match of the night, league leader Shamrock Rovers take on Slag Rovers at Tata Stadium at 8 o'clock.

So this is the FAI National League, which is the third tier of the pyramid.

So you have Newbridge Town and CK United, you put both of them onto your system.

But what's more interesting than that, interesting though that is, is just how you're building out this list of clubs.

Yeah.

Got plenty to get sink our teeth into.

Um, so obviously CK United out last week against Villa, not the result an- that CK would have wanted.

Um, we'll dive into all of that, um, shortly.

Um, Bagenalstown had a big win in Leinster.

We will preview the Division Two final of the Over 35s as well.

And yeah, that's pretty much it.

So as always, we'll just get started with CK United against Villa.

So I did a brief, um, video last week, uh, ahead of this one, after the, after the game, just to kind of give people a flavor of kind of what the game was like for-- Um, because I'm sure people saw the score, goal line four-nil and thought, "What on earth happened? How were they s- how were they so bad?" Um, so I did kind of want-- didn't wanna leave it a week between, um, between you guys f- to leave a, a week for you guys to find out what happened.

socials and everything you know for the couple of days before that just to remind everyone also to mention just I mentioned a couple of weeks ago Robbie Dempsey was on to me about Robbie's one of the men himself and Conor English and Jesus who did tell me the third one was Nilo Grady was it I think it might be Nilo Grady he won't be doing that until tomorrow and finishing the hurling anyway but Robbie was on to me today the Kilkenny youth squad They're playing a game this evening at half eight down in Colession.

They're actually playing the CK United under-17 team.

So that's a really good game.

Youth Squad actually was announced and good spread of players from Lines and Evergreen and Callan and Booters and Highview and Bridge United.

And I think we'll definitely get that, something similar, out of at least one of them divisions as the season progresses.

OK, that's all the fixtures for the league ahead.

Just to give you a reminder again, if you're not a loose end later on, the Kilkenny Utes team... heading down to Colession to play the CK United under-17s, half eight in a friendly tonight.

That's a lovely venue down there as well, a lovely clean venue.

So that's all of the, uh, results over the weekend.

And just to mention, and, you know, and we, we are as the, y- we haven't done a whole lot with them, but, uh, when the main season starts, in fact, just to mention CK United-

Yeah

... going really well.
