So let me put up on the screen a little bit of what we're looking at.

This is some random aggregator online that took bits and pieces of what Bowdoin told Doug and Bill on their show that the Cincinnati Reds getting into the de la cruz rumor here um will absolutely consider trading de la cruz this off season i think this particular site is is more of a red socks leaning site but what he said in regards to the dodgers the quote is does it make sense sure for the reds what makes sense Like the Nationals with Wood and Abrams, they should be trying to sign these guys.

But if you can't, don't let them get the free agency or a year from free agency.

Trade them now while you can.

Obviously, Padres traded a lot of talent away over the last handful of years, you know, for guys like...

Mason Miller was one of the guys.

The big trade that, going back to the Jim Bowden factor of this, that netted the Nationals, James Wood and Abrams.

So who would they get back again? What was that trade? I don't like it's the nationals, the nationals, the nationals.

There's also a lot of names out there.

CJ Abrams is another one that comes to mind.

So for me, I would, again, all these guys are tradable, especially when I'm talking about prospects and stuff like that.

Yeah, JDP had an awesome two-week stretch.

I don't think the Dodgers are going to be willing to give up whatever that asking price is, but it is a negotiation.

So maybe they'll go into a negotiation war.

And if they see like CJ Abrams costs less hypothetically, I think they'll go that direction instead.

I get that prospects are prospects for a reason.

In fact, Ellie wasn't even Bowden's first idea.

His big swing was Washington's James Wood and C.J. Abrams if the Nationals didn't extend them.

The price he laid out for that was Robleski, Sheehan, Napala, Zarota, Freeland, and Rushing.

Six players.

So that's going to be interesting, too.

I mean, who knows if it's L.A. De La Cruz or C.J. Abrams, or they want to get crazy there.

The Dodgers are always going to explore ways to make their roster better.

But the two biggest ones that I wanted to flag is some eye-popping names at the top of the board.

Maybe not from living the season we just have, but if you... you know, excuse the expression, just like went into a coma after the draft season last year and then you woke up and saw this draft, you would say, wait a minute, Jacob Mizorowski, number two overall, Pete Crow Armstrong, number three overall, CJ Abrams, number seven, Cam Schlittler, 13.

Even as you get into the second round, Bryce Terang, Connor Griffin, 20 and 22 respectively, and then Miguel Vargas, 23 overall.

Uh, yes, we know that there's great arguments for each of those players at those picks.

We always look at second base, right? And.

The top eight at second base actually has some, some names that I would be totally all right with.

So CJ Abrams and Tatis are both in the first round.

Yeah.

And if you kind of want to go out and maybe add like the best player not named Tarek Skubal to change teams this offseason, Quetel Marte certainly fits perfectly.

That description, you know, C.J. Abrams has kind of been in and out of trade talks.

The Astros kind of seem likely to do something.

You know, I put down here the Guardians outfielder Stephen Kwan and Joe Adele, both who, you know, certainly would fit, I think, the Blue Jays lineup in different ways.

We talked about the mental side of it, that that's the level you have to get to.

If Nassim Nunez, if CJ Abrams want to be World Series champion or World Series contender, middle infield, every detail has got to be taken care of.

The other part of it is it's not like just in the moments right now.

It's every time.

Ellie, Bobby Witt, you know, Connor Griffin looks like he's going to be a stud.

CJ Abrams is going to have shortstop eligibility, but they're moving him off the position.

So maybe this is more farsighted.

But like after that.
