The amount of short-term rental has really run out of control in New South Wales, particularly if you're living in some of the nicer areas of New South Wales in coastal areas, for example.

Like if you're in the Shell Harbour area, which has seen over 10% rent rise problem in the last 12 months, we know that over 20% of properties there are actually with short-term rentals.

So they need to be regulated as well.

Now, look, I haven't been to Bourke for quite a long time.

Uh, "The first three modular public housing units were officially completed and occupied," and that's a link to the New South Wales government.

Shellharbour, which is in the same area, "Three modular s- social housing units have been built, taking just 14 to 16 weeks from DA," that's development app- application, "to completion, with a fourth added shortly." So all these, uh, people waiting for social housing are gonna end up moving into these mod pods and these, uh, modular homes.

That was also a link to the New South Wales government site.

Lake Macquarie, it says, "Multiple sites are actively progressing to host initial allocations of the government's 90-home rollout pipeline," and that's from a site called Built Offsite.

I've just put that word out there.

Let's see if that catches on.

Uh, and then it says here, um, and we've, I think I've already reca-- uh, yeah, I've already covered that, where it says Wollongong, Shellharbour, Lake Macquarie.

But you can see, people, this is happening.

So how did you get back to the Rabbits then?

So we played the grand final against Shell Harbour in 1996 and we won the grand final quite easily down there, I think by 40 or something.

I might have scored a couple of tries, which is the sum total of my whole NRL first grade career in one game.

But, mate, I remember South signed quite a few guys from that game, Cole Skelly, Aaron Grant from Shell Harbour and myself.

And I think at that stage, Jim, I think...

I think they were just thrown in that far and wide South, so they didn't want to spend a lot of money, but they thought we'd just get a lot of these guys in and see if we could find someone that could have a pretty substantial first-grade career.

No.

And, um, you know, I travel up to every game to the stadium from down the south coast in Shellharbour, and it's been disappointing for me, like it's been disappointing for you.

And if we don't pull our finger out on Nove- November 1, I'm gonna get to Vegas, and I'm gonna jump off the stand onto the goalpost and fucking stroll around, mate.
