City of Darebin

I've been seeing a lot of propaganda from Nathan Lambert, who is the State Lab MP for the seat of Preston, but he was sort of sharing around a chart which was a bit of an inversion of what has been posted by the Save Preston Markets campaign, who did a bit of a scorecard.

But they're, you know, they're essentially trying to make this argument that groups like, say, Preston Markets, the Greens and Victorian Socialist parties that have been supporting the Preston Market campaign, you know, they just want to hand over the Preston Market to unaccountable bureaucrats in the Department of Housing and the Darebin Council.

So I guess, yeah, what is your response? And also there's one of the arguments as well that Nathan has been praising is that, oh, well, this redevelopment would mean private rentals.

And the idea that you would even propose something like public housing is just a dreadful idea.
