I don't see him retiring.

He'll get with the Lions down at the Gardens on the River Stage this afternoon or whenever they're going to be there.

And he'll go, no, I can't give this up.

And then he's got to weigh up what he's feeling there and what he's feeling now and give me a month off.

It's the biggest change in its 35 year history.

The course itself passes landmarks such as the Story Bridge, Brisbane River, City Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Point and Coro Drive, Coronation Drive for those people not in Brisbane.

And it's the first time Coronation Drive has been utilised, I believe, since the 82 Commonwealth Games.

The single loop design addresses runners' feedback, boosts capacity to 20,000. and aims to position Brisbane as a world-class marathon destination ahead of the 2032 Olympics.

So I'm going to share the screen for the video watches and they can follow along as we look at the course as I talk through and give some thoughts.

So we're starting in the middle of Brisbane, starting at the Botanic Gardens.

Then we go straight across the bridge to South Bank, cut the corner of South Bank, cross another bridge up Coronation Drive.

That's the first out and back.
