I don't know if you remember the story that I wrote in there about the spirals, but that's the key for me.

Stuart, you might not know this story, but what happened was there was a crop circle making team.

that the instrument picks up um and i wonder if that potentially is somewhat like because a lot of times people will say there's like there's like a charge in the air when they go into the circle and i wonder if it's like static electricity or something to the effect of what you just talked about

Everybody, I've been asked this a lot.

There's no like cabal or secret freemasonry lodge with circle makers.

You have teams, they get old, they retire, they bring in new people, their people go and make, it's like a revolving personnel.

There's no like...

There's no particular camaraderie to it.

It's just people that are compelled to do it or people that are artists.

Firstly, the reason why I've used the pen name Citizen D on the book is because I'm a journalist and I'm quite an established author as well, and I wanted to keep the name away from those parts of my life, literature-wise.

Also, crop circle making is illegal, all right? But...

Because I've gone through the book and I've changed all the locations or I've taken locations out, they can't do me on the statute of limitations.

Bingo.

And also because another reason for the pseudonym is because as soon as you come out and you say, I've made crop circles, a lot of people say, oh, he's just an egotist.

It's all about him, blah, blah, blah.

So one last question for me, then we'll wrap up, I think, is very simply, have you ever been caught

you ever personally dreamed a formation before it appeared in a field

um kind of i mean more interesting than that in a sense is that um i was having these recurring dreams oh god yeah this is a really good one actually um i was having these recurring dreams of um being in a microlight aircraft which harkens to the fact that I did use to chart a microlapse to go and see the crop circles.

So in my dream, I charted a microlapse, I was up in the air, and then suddenly this microlapse evaporated, and then it was like an ubi, then it was like an out-of-body experience dream, because it was just me, my soul, my form, so to speak.

And I was swooping over these fields, always the same two fields, it was a recurring dream, It was a part of Wiltshire that I wasn't aware of and it wasn't familiar to me at all.

I'd fly over these two fields and they'd always be One crop circle in one field, another crop circle in another field.

Always the same fields, always the same circles.

But curiously, there was a guy flying next to me.

As you're saying this, I'm thinking, how many statistically ridiculous synchronicities does one person have to have experienced before he's entitled to suspect there's a pattern

Yeah.

Um, I went into this subject holding hoaxers in absolute contempt because my attitude was, "This mystery is deep enough.

We don't want some idiots coming in and making hoax circles." I hated people like me, okay? Because I thought their motivations were bad.

I thought they were tricksters.

And when I was called out for this first t- two, two-stage event, I actually phoned my missus and said, "Look, I've been invited out tonight because these guys have overheard me.

I'll make a promise to you.

If nothing weird happens, I'm out of this subject.
