There's not really... much of a serotonin deficiency until we cause it by giving someone SSRIs long-term.

Because SSRIs, which are that category of meds that includes Paxil, Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, Lexapro, and all of their generic names, they trick the body.

into thinking there's enough serotonin so they don't recycle it.

And then eventually your body stops making it because they think there's enough and we've messed up our whole feedback loop.

Various medications can interfere with brain signaling by blocking a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which is involved in memory and focus.

They include drugs for allergies or insomnia, such as Benadryl, urinary incontinence, such as Oxytrol, anxiety such as Antivan, depression and anxiety such as Celexa and Zoloft and sleep aids known as non-benzodiazepine sedative hypnotics which include Ambien, Lunesta, Number two, dizziness or balance problems.

Certain drugs can cause gait changes that makes falls more likely or make people feel weak or off balance.

They include muscle relaxants such as Amarix, some high blood pressure medications such as beta blockers like Lopressor and Toprol.

But you can look at all the antipsychotics, atypical, atypical antipsychotics.

You can look at all the antidepressants, your SSRIs like Zoloft, Paxil, Lexapro, Celexa.

Your SNRIs, Effexor, which is one I used to sell.

And you can look at the, um ...

mean, those are all medicines.

We use Celexa, or excuse me, what am I saying, Celexa.

Duloxetine is used a lot along with Prozac, Celexa, Lexapro.

The one about Duloxetine is so hard to get off of it.

It's unbelievable.

and you

start off with Trozac, and then you get Citalopram, and then you jiggle the molecule, and you come up with Sertraline, and maybe tweak the molecule just a little bit and call it something new.

Yeah, but they all work in exactly the same way.

I mean, they have some differences, but they're not very much, as you say, incremental advances.

You are more of the ADD.

And as far as medications for depression, I would recommend that you start a medication, which are Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa.

Usually Puprin and Star is pretty good.

I'll give you some Lexapro in the morning and some Krazen in the night.

Someone didn't want us to see that part of the report because they knew what it meant, that it was at least partly to blame for Micah's state of mind.

At the end of this visit, a doctor prescribed Celexa, quote unquote, because it's more affordable, along with Ativan for the anxiety and sleep.

The doctor noted that she told Micah that the Ativan is only to be used when absolutely needed and warned her that she could call her at any time and order her to bring the pill bottle for a pill count at any time.

She also noted that, quote, they, again with the quote they, agreed with this, and that JP would take Micah to the ER if she became suicidal again.

Usually, a coconut XR is pretty

good.

And so I feared failure so badly that I was having social anxiety.

So I went on Celexa for six months and hated every day that I was on it because I felt like my life was fake.

Like, I couldn't control things by myself.

That was just my own inner fight.
