Cisco ASA

You know, we have Cisco ASA Firewall.

We have Zeek sensors.

So all kinds of interesting things that you can simulate in there.

Three, since August twenty twenty-four on four continents, the SafePay ransomware crew has hit at least six hundred organizations.

They get in by guessing passwords and through old flaws in Cisco ASA, SonicWall, and Veeam.

Once inside, they reset NAS boxes to factory settings and sometimes delete network backups.

Require MFA on every VPN login.

Hey guys, welcome to Network Chuck.

Today I'll be showing you how to install an ASA license to increase whatever license level you're at currently on your Cisco ASA.

In this specific environment, I will be enabling a Security Plus license on my ASA to enable dual ISPs.

So first you'll need to go to

cisco.com forward slash go forward slash license to download your license.

And you'll enter your PAK license, which you should have received when you bought it from your vendor or your Cisco reseller.

And now I can fulfill my pack and download my license.

And on the Cisco ASA, to fulfill the license, Cisco will register your license with the serial of your device.
