Circus of Power

This record does feature a number of guest musicians.

So we have Ricky Mahler of the band Circus of Power, which was like a New York sleaze hard rock band.

He plays the guitar solo on the opening track of Power and does some backing vocals.

Nick 13 of Tiger Army provides some backing vocals here as well.

And which was thrilling for me because I only started doing this stuff about two months ago.

And I've always liked art, had my hand in it a little bit, like, you know, the Circus of Power covers.

And I used to, I didn't do them, but I, you know, I gave direction.

I used to hand draw our flyers and stuff like that, but I'm not an artist.

Especially because it's a standard that people don't sing those kind of songs nowadays, anyhow.

In general.

So to hear somebody doing this kind of song, this kind of rock punk type music, because Circus of Power has always had its own style.

So it's been kind of that rock and roll, punky kind of swagger.

That was a really good song.

Everybody's Got a Plan, followed up with Blue Oyster Cult, Veteran of the Psychic Wars, and Circus of Power Vices, and plus Queensryche, Take Hold of the Flame.

Now I've got music out of Houston, Texas.

The band is called Black Slam.

They are an all-female surf band.

Phillip Hill, Ches Lane, Reckless, Circus of Power and Magic and Madness, Leilani Kilgore, Tell Your Ghost, and Stanley Simmons.

And my music this week... is all things ace frailey with a sprinkle of stanley simmons and how about my little hooligans

uh stay with the ace frailey obviously um i've been listening to a lot of stanley simmons as well and uh prince 1999 oh that's a

I just need some time Some time

Next piece of vinyl, we're going to talk about Circus of Power and their album called Vices.

These guys were on the 250 list.

Why do I have this album? Guaranteed.

There is no way I paid full price for this damn album because I've heard parts of it and I've not liked most of it.

One of the tolerable songs, I guess, on this album is Gates of Love, which is the opening track.

So let's check out from Circus of Power and their album, Vices, Gates of Love.

and she sure was bad.
