What was it like growing up? And were you visiting sets at all? What was that like for you? I

grew up in the San Fernando Valley.

Okay.

Dad was friends with everybody.

So I honestly never knew when I would come home if John Wayne was going to be sitting in my living room or a stuntman was going to be there.

They all came over.

They all stayed and, you know, played cards or went swimming or my mom had an enclosed patio put on with a pool table.

Are there any amazing stories from your Aunt Julie that you were like, wow, just blown away by?

How did your father get into the business? It's kind of a remarkable story.

Well, neither Dad nor Bob ever dreamed of being actors.

That was, that was not their intention.

They ended up in Long Beach, California, from Bridgeport, Connecticut, because their older sister, Julie, had left home at 12 to join a Vaudeville dance team.

At 15, she married a sailor who got stationed in Long Beach, so that's where she was, and they were all stuck in Delaware and, and Connecticut.

And when the Depression hit, they literally lost the family farm.

So Aunt Julie said, "Well, come out to Long Beach.
