Cinderella is Dead

Next, I want to recommend Cinderella is Dead by Caitlin Baron.

This story completely flips the classic fairy tale, imagining a kingdom where young women are forced to attend a ball and be chosen as wives or face deadly consequences.

When Sophia refuses to play along and teams up with Constance, the two girls set out to overthrow the oppressive kingdom.

So I'm, um, and the whole team here is very much a proponent of, of publishing very diversely.

And so, um, I was actually thinking about this in terms of, uh, when I was at Bloomsbury, and seeing my boss at the time really push for this, was when, um, they acquired Cinderella Is Dead by Kalynn Bayron, which is a Cinderella retelling, um, by a now bestselling author, and this was her debut.
