Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

It's tall and narrow, so you probably want to grow it in multiples.

But, you know, we have used that at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

And it's a great tall annual for back of the border type of thing.

But I saw it also, I think it was two years ago when I went out to speak for Steve Owens at the Bustani Plant Farm, which is out in Oklahoma.

Yeah, you know, uh, we're talking about-

There's a zoo, like, a mile away

So long as you can pass a background check, you can meet with kids and work with them.

And I'll tell you that, you know, some of our larger partners are like the Cincinnati Zoo Association.

And we're getting ready to have some turf installed so they can play soccer at 2020 instead of, well, soccer if they want.

I don't know if they want to play soccer.

So we wanted to give everybody a few updates on the current giraffe and maybe some updates on Tessa's pregnancy and everything.

Oh, we didn't talk about, we could mention Giraffe Tower, some future plans for our giraffe herd here.

And yeah, so we currently have four giraffe living at the Cincinnati Zoo.

Plus Tessa has one on the way.

She's due in sometime mid to late October or early November.

Can y'all hear that squawking and carrying on? In 1914, this one breaks my heart.

On September 1st, 1914, a passenger pigeon named Martha died at the Cincinnati Zoo.

She was the last known passenger pigeon on earth.

And what makes that especially staggering is that passenger pigeons once existed in numbers that are difficult to comprehend.
