Every mitzvah that we do, Hashem does.

Like we say, His chukim, His mishpatim, what He's doing, He's telling us to do.

So, when we do the shofar, Hashem does the shofar.

And, Whatever we accomplish, that's why the shofar is so powerful.

The Rambam says that's an additional time of Karbanos.

But the Rambam himself writes in Hilchas Me'il L'Perechas that V'kol HaKarbanos Kulam Michal HaChukim Hein.

All Karbanos are Chukim.

And Amruch HaCham Shem Shvil HaVotas HaKarbanos HaOlam Omein.

It talks about how this was demonstrated by Yitzias Mitzrayim.

He talks about a Kiddos Yitzchak, and how that shows the extent to which Avraham Avinu accepted this idea, believed in this, accepted the idea of Olam Haba, and that other nations see our connection to HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and attribute it as well to that which is spiritual, and specifically to the Chukim, to the Ratzon Hashem, Hashem running the world, and to the Chukim.

Okay, those are the main ideas in the Drasha, and now we'll go through, I've broken it into basically four main sections.

Okay, so the first one is this idea of community, combination, thesis, antithesis, synthesis.

That's how he understands...

the Eitz Hadass.

Now, the fourth section here, there are fundamental Yisodos that relate to this story about Olam Haba, and it connects to Yetzias Mitzrayim, connects to Chukim, connects to Akedah Z'Yitzchak.

It's not like you have to ask Him to do justice.

It would seem you ask Him to do rachman, where we didn't live up to the bargain, not where we did live up to the bargain.

What kind of a tefillah is that? So if you go with the chukim, and you do the mitzvos, and guard the mitzvos, and do them, so Rashi says, then it says, a bunch of great things.

Part of the system of Eilat Mishpatim is, if it makes sense, then it's true.

Once you enter into religious law, into ritual law, once you enter into the realm of Chukim, you're trying to figure out about, am I supposed to recite a benediction before eating an apple or not? That's not Chesh Mishpat.

That's Rechayim.

That's religious law.

It makes sense.

So Zab Teisvis, Teisvis will agree, in Mishpatim it makes sense.

But Shabbos and Goz and Sabachor are not Mishpatim, those are Chukim.

So in the realm of Chukim, you need Chukim.

He quotes there three categories of mitzvahs.

He has chukim, shimios, and sichlios.

What are chukim? Chukim, you know, the reasons are not known.

Number two are the shimios.

Shimios are the ones that the Torah itself gives the reason for.

This is derived from a passage in Tehillim that we say in Davening in the morning.

It says, Hashem tells His words, His chukim, His laws, His statutes to the Jewish people.

It says it's His laws, it's His statutes.

Not just He gives us laws, He gives us His own laws, meaning that He Himself abides by the laws, by the mitzvahs that He gives us.

Do something.

As Hakol kulei, do mitzvot, do chukim, do mishpatim.

V'zehu v'shamarta v'asiso osam.

Ze havtacha.

And this is the havtacha.

If you do this, emata osek ein tiyei batuch.

Surely, shlemim yavo tiyei oseh mitzvot v'shomer chukim.

You'll, it'll, it'll last.
