That is not you.

If you trace back my childhood memories, I remember on my seventh birthday, which I tell the story about, I got the Action Man walkie-talkie flashlight radio and I opened it up and Chumbawamba was playing.

I get knocked down.

That flashlight radio was orange.

Is that

German for, like, Chumbawamba? That's what I always thought.

Their name remains one of the strangest words ever spoken on mainstream radio.

One of my first book I wrote called Fail Hard, Win Big is the story of my entrepreneurial journey, how I have had 30 ventures, 20 of those have failed and 10 have been successful.

And not being afraid to fail is, Everything you said about persistence, perseverance, I always think of the Chumbawamba song, you get knocked down, you get up again.

I mean, that is how to be a successful entrepreneur.

You gotta be able to take those punches.

You might be able to get Sema down, but you cannot and will not keep Sema down.

Sema is much like Chumbawamba in that respect, and that respect only.

Or Jack Evans cartwheeling out of a Frankie Kazarian arm wrench and hitting Frankie with a spinning back kick.

Look, getting kicked sucks.

And did you go through sort of a period of sort of the anarcho sort of anarchist punk scene with bands like, you know, Chumbawamba and there were Bligh, Power and Sounds and, um, and sort of all that kind of, uh, Thatcher on acid.

Did you, did you sort of embrace any of that kind of world as well?

Well, I mean, I've got singles by Vice Squad and Anti-Pasti and Chron Gen, Chronic Generation, and I, I, I've got them because at the time, you know, they were the ones that were like producing more material.

I mean, for example, he reviews for the NME, uh, Combat Rock that came out in, if I get this correct, 1982, uh, May 1982.

So he, he's, he, he's not the main feature writer for the NME at the time, but he is a feature writer and a reviewer.

He reviews the Poison Girls, Chumbawamba, Gang of Four, you know, blah, blah, blah.

Um, so he's, you know, he's a well-known face in terms of the NME, um, staff at the time.

A good example.

Uh, in 1999, there was a band called Chumbawamba that had-

... a song called Tubthumper, and it was the biggest song in the world.

... you know, he gets tens of millions of followers.

Yeah.

And because he has that platform, and- All of the other songs, not to say he's not talented, but Chumbawamba is talented too.

Mm-hmm.

I don't know what the third slot would be.

I thought maybe it was the baby on the cover of that Chumbawamba album.

That was a pretty cool baby.
