Um, so I'm, you know, I'm, I'm curious how you guys met and, and, uh, you know, what your relationship is, et cetera.

Yeah, uh, I, coincidentally, I, I've been doing, um...

I have a application that, that has a six- well, at that time it was 10 radio stations, but, uh, I have 13 radio sta- rap ra- called Rap Station, and we have 24 hours powered by Live 365 on our app.

You know, what it does is it presents and curates rap and hip hop music.

And the benchmark show that we did 16 years in a row on Pacifica is a weekly show called And You Don't Stop.

We put a hold on it for the last six months because they're actually moving a couple shows over into Sirius and still gonna be, um, on Pacifica.

And in the middle of a segment, I have three segments in the show.

been doing that and uh that's that's it i mean

The proud of the, the pride and the proud aspect that I got out of this was just throwing, you know, like once he was, like you said, shepherd meet your heroes.

And I grew up as a single digit kid and the sixties and then the seventies, I was a teenager, but I had put all my heroes in my own book.

and registered them.

I never thought I would ever meet them.

So how did the musical beds beyond the beats develop, the melodic components, bass, guitar, et cetera?

So were you surprised that it worked?

That's where the car time comes in, 'cause only time you celebrate is not with awards, not with the hoopla, not with the crowd.

You celebrate in the car by your damn self and saying, "Hmm, okay, that seemed like a W and that," and you keep driving.

I know, right? It's, it's like there ain't gonna be no other Public Enemy, 'cause all the, all the parts to it w- were all crazy, man.

It's almost like Roosevelt, Long Island becomes a group.

You know? Roosevelt, Hempstead, and you add Bill Stephney, add Eric Sadler from Hem- Hempstead.

It was something that happened once, ain't gonna happen again in that way.

Yes, he didn't have to take a three-pointer because it o- was only in the ADA.

But he could do it all.

And Wilt was still in the league, taking up a different style of game.

He was taking over the Bill Russell game.

I remember that clearly.

And we beat the Bucks to face the Lakers.

Yeah

Right.

... or going to social media.

We can do something about it.

We can do something about it what we, in what we do musically to bring the noise and make people aware.

And, and it's one thing about turning fans off, but one thing we've been is fearless with our music.

And I was raised, uh, being born in this city is to be fearless and say what you need, you know, to say and say what needs to be said.

And uh, that's been pretty much my track line right throughout.
