Chuck Coles

But it was fucking amazing.

And then our good friend Chuck Coles did a whole thing there as well.

Yeah.

He was there all weekend.

You know, that band were my connections to the punk scene, and once that band ended, I didn't really, you know, know who to play music with or book shows with or any of that, so I was just kind of playing music alone at home.

Uh, and then in 2021, finally, I was kind of fed up with that and, you know, we had just been through the whole pandemic thing, uh, and I was like, "I need to get out in the world and actually play some music in front of people." So I just started going to open mics, and through that, that's how I met Chuck Coles, who, uh, liked my music and asked me to come record a couple songs with him, uh, at Adam Michael's studio in Hamilton, and that's kind of where my, my solo record came out of, and my whole, you know, current musical project kicked off from.

So the, uh, the solo one you're talking about, you're talking about Fireweed?

That is the one.
