Chuck Clark

Well, going back to

having Chuck Clark play, and they love Chuck Clark, the human and the mind, but they make that position better, make that position a centerpiece position.

But I'm talking about,

like, prominent draft picks, and they've spent money there, right? So...

Like, all the DBs on this team.

Like, I think Chuck Clark and Brian Branch are probably the, like.

Brian Branch isn't even that big.

Physical-wise, they're the biggest DBs on this team.

I mean, some of them are former Jets.

DJ Reed, Chuck Clark, both former Jets.

You know, what can you tell me about some of these players in the secondary? I know a guy like, obviously, Rocky Sin is...

Bounced around a lot.

Rocks struggled.

McCreary has been hit or miss the safeties.

Chuck Clark is, you know, he's a veteran and he's looking like a veteran, but maybe not in the best way.

And then I'm curious who they're going to put in for Maddox right now.

DJ Reed is out there with a brand new corner in Rocky Scene.

He's out there with new safeties in Chuck Clark, who's new.

Christian Isian, who's new? Roger McCrary, nickel corner, inside corner, new.

Not making any excuses, especially when guys like Joshua Palmer are running 25 yards unabated to anybody.

And we haven't really called his name much, which is a good thing.

But as far as on defense, the guys that they brought in, Roger McCreary, Christian Izzy, and Chuck Clark, I mean, there's been so many communication issues back there.

And so, you know, you drafted Derek Moore in the second round.

He hasn't had a tackle, a sack.

be honest.

That safety group, it's not good.

You're taking away Kirby Joseph and Brian Branch in the defense, and you're asking a lot, and you asked a lot of Vontae Maddox and Chuck Clark, who's in his 30s and has been on numerous teams.

And, like, it's just a drop-off.

For the Jets to win, they're gonna have to get at least 27, and, uh, and I do think they can score against this Lions defense, which really has just been decimated in the secondary.

Um, you know, for goodness sake, they have Chuck Clark, the former Jet, who really didn't do much with the Jets, starting at safety now.

Their regular safeties, uh, Branch and Kirby Joseph, are out.

So the Jets have a real opportunity to do something.

And I do think they can score against this Lions defense, which really has just been decimated in the secondary.

You know, for goodness sake, they have Chuck Clark, the former Jet, who really didn't do much with the Jets starting at safety now.

The injuries have devastated the Lions' back end, and in particular, the safety position.

Chuck Clark is currently the only reliable fantasy option, and he was actually a borderline bubble roster-making player coming out of training camp this summer.

Now, for the next two or three weeks, he's going to be the only one you can really rely on.

Starters Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph will not return until week five at the earliest.
