And it was a great group of women and I was on a panel and they were asking us all these wonderful insurance industry questions and philosophizing on what's going to happen next in the industry and what's happening next with women in the business and all the things.

And then they finally came to a question and they asked each of the panelists, what's your greatest fear? And I was listening to these remarkable women, remarkable women on this panel talking about their greatest fears globally, their greatest fears for women, their greatest fears about health and wellness, their greatest fears about all things that you could consider.

And the top 10, first of all, it doesn't have BlackRock or Chubb Insurance, which in my opinion, it should be in the top 10.

I really didn't look to see if it's because it's market cap.

That's what's causing it not to be in the top 10.

If you like the idea of insurance, Chubb's it.

And look, Warren Buffett agrees with me, or Berkshire Hathaway agrees with me.

They are a big holder of Chubb insurance now, aren't they? And they know insurance.

If anybody knows insurance, it's Warren Buffett.

He said the settlement would also allow the Archdiocese to turn its full attention once again to its mission of evangelization and works of mercy.

The settlement caps a five-year legal battle that has seen the Archdiocese sell off property while taking insurance giant Chubb to court over coverage for the claims.

Previously, OSV News found that U.S. diocese have paid more than $5 billion to settle abuse claims from 2004 to 2024.

With the Archdiocese of New York settlement, that figure is now closer to and perhaps more than $6 billion.

And the former AIG boss has started with Chubb, Miranda.

Yes, Kathleen Warden started as Chubb ANZ head of PNC this week after she resigned as AIG Australia CEO earlier this year and then worked out her notice period.

Chubb says her underwriting expertise and her local market experience will be instrumental in growing its P&C portfolio.

Because in fact, Ms.

Warden used to be a senior underwriter at Chubb about two decades ago.

So she's described taking this new senior role as a full circle moment in her career with this return to Chubb where her journey in insurance first began.

This, of course, all comes after country president Ben Howell departed Chubb quite suddenly in April, and then he has begun fair work proceedings in the federal court this month.

At the same time, we are going to continue to see more issuance on demand from either familiar corporates.

For example, Chubb's Insurance has consistently been issuing starting this year because probably their clients say, hey, can you please issue some bonds for me, your investors.

At the same time, the Chinese government will be the first, not necessarily the government directly, MOF will issue, China Development will issue, but more provisional issuance is going to come online because foreign demand is there.

Local demand will be driven by more LGFP type issuance, more higher yielding issuance, where there is a spread differential for them to make.

A couple of things on our holding side in the international equities portfolio.

Chubb released third quarter numbers last night.

So EPS came in at $7.30. That beat consensus at $6.48.

So a good beat in terms of that.

And the operating metrics in Chubb is going particularly well.

This is one of our defensive holdings within the international equities portfolio and is doing what it should be doing.

Looking elsewhere, just in terms of earnings this week in companies that we own in the international equities portfolio, we have results out from Blackstone, and we've got results out from Spotify on the back of Chubb's results overnight.
