I've got two picks Liz but they're sort of intertwined in the nature of a non-linear narrative such as one of the picks which is I'm going to pick The Prestige by Christopher Priest and The Recollections Tales from a Life or sorry Fragments from a Life in Writing by Christopher Priest.

So I had not read The Recollections because Priest discusses the difference between the book and the movie of The Prestige in one of the essays in the book and and I wanted to have read The Prestige before I read about his thoughts about the way it worked.

And I wanted to read the book because Christopher Priest is an incisive and strident commentator, but also very interesting and very good at writing.

The Prestige, the book, is great.

The Recollections, also great.
