Christopher Dorner

Wild shit.

Remember Chris Dorner?

Yeah.

Oh, my God.

Okay, can I ask you a couple of details? I'm not going to get into the personal side of your surgery.

Well, you and I talked years ago about Chris Dorner, so we've spoken before.

Go ahead.

All I'd ask you is, was your problem relatively minor?

I'm tired of explaining to these people something that's so goddamn obvious.

The guy that killed those nine cops, just like Chris Dorner before him, was from our military.

And then right after he did it, another four cops were shot dead in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Again, a black man that served in our military.

And, um, I believe one of the, one of the ones that he wrote kind of pinpoints why there wasn't a huge public interest in the first, like, week or even two of her case.

Um, it was because Christopher Dorner had gone on his rampage against the LAPD, basically declared war on the LAPD and was killed in, I think, the mountains of San Bernardino in a standoff, like right when Elisa Lam went missing.

So not only were, was the public's attention on this, especially in LA, the LAPD's attention was definitely on that as well.

Um, so Elisa Lam was kind of like this faint little chirp in this huge maelstrom at the time.
