Christine Graves

[guitar music] Hello and welcome to the Hard Folk Podcast.

My name is Matt Gower, and today on the show I have Christine Graves.

And I realized halfway through the show that this is sort of part three of a three-parter, part one being a few weeks ago, Chris White was on the podcast.

We talked a lot about festivals and such.

Um, and part two was last, uh, episode with Jennifer Knoxen, where we talked a lot about the Bronson Avenue hub of, uh, Rasputins and, and the Folklore Centre.

And part three is Christine Graves, where we kind of continued that conversation.

So here's our talk.

I should note that Christine Graves is going to be playing with Jennifer Knoxen on November 6th at CKCU Presents: Friday Night Folk at the Art House Cafe.

Sure, sure.

Um, and, uh, yeah, Christine Graves is gonna be playing at the ArtHouse, and she appears on a couple tracks on The Gathering, and I think probably on previous recordings of yours as well.

Um, do you have, uh, you m- you, you two must have a close relationship.

So tell, tell me, tell me a little bit about, about how you, you two connected.
