I'm going to read from the CSB.

And CSB is a Christian Standard Bible.

And it says this.

It says in 2 Peter 1, verses 3 through 10, "...his divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." By these he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desire.

Doesn't change the reality of goodness and evil in the world.

All of that's still true, whether I feel it or not.

There's so much in the Bible that's basically, and I mentioned David again, but he's saying, why are you so downcast on my soul? He's talking to his own feelings and reminding himself of what's actually true.

So yeah, you come forward, you're not feeling it.
