If I can't get some of those things without having to give out a ton of money and a long-term deal, then I'm going to work around what I have right now.

And I think what's gonna happen is you're gonna see some of these younger guys, like Denzer Guzman and Christian Moore and Kyron Paris, be a part of the Major League roster moving forward.

Because if you look at the minor leagues, there is a crop of really great players that are developing and growing, um, and, and I'm looking forward to seeing them.

They're just not ready, and they need to have some time to cook.

I think that you could possibly see some trades happen, and not that the Angels would mortgage the future to try to get some of these, uh, better players in.

But I do think that you could see some trades where it really benefits the Angels.

And they may have to give up some of the names that we're familiar with, maybe like a Christian Moore or a Kyren Paris or a Denzer Guzman.

But I do think that if they do trade those types of players, they're gonna get somebody...

You're getting nothing whatsoever out of the catcher spot.

Christian Moore, he's not giving you more.

He's hitting below a two hundred.

And it's like, holy shit.

He's fine filler for 15s.

The other one I'd mentioned is Christian Moore playing every single day.

Similar to Mo Bala, he's slowly starting to showcase signs of life at the plate.

The power still has not shown up, but he's like, I can get 270 over the last week or so.

Um, you know, but this was a still relatively a young lineup.

You look at this lineup for the Angels tonight, Vaughn Grissom, Christian Moore, Kyren Paris, who by the way, love to see Kyren back.

You know I'm excited for that.

Oswald Peraza, Denzil Guzman.

I would like to avoid the 100 losses just because I would like to avoid the 100 losses.

But, um, I honestly, I'm not too worried about wins and losses.

If it costs us a spot in the draft, but it means that guys like Reid Detmers and Ryan Johnson and obviously Walber Guerra and some of the guys hitting, the Christian Moores, the Kyren Parises, the Vaughn Grissoms of the world, if it meant that they got more confidence in a loss or in a win that cost you the number one overall pick, I think I'd take that.

Second inning, Vaughn Grissom with the double, Ballesteros with the base hit, 90-mile-an-hour fastball right down the plate.

The stuff was not looking very good or in the early going Christian Moore, um, RBI double play.

They made it a one, nothing game.

He strikes out Paris after that.

This is just the guy who sat in the chair and watched those two teams play.

Christian Moore and Blake Burke.

And oh, by the way, Dylan Dreiling was the most outstanding player.

So he was amazing, clearly.

But when your best two players really struggle, everybody feels that vibe.

Everybody feels it.

And conversely, when your best two players are hitting missiles all over the park, I.e. Christian Moore going five for six with a cycle on the first night and Blake Burke coming up with the game-tying hit.

Like, they feel that, too.

Nelson Rada can be, I think, at least a defensive center fielder that can help soon.

But when you look at Rada, Guzman, Christian Moore... that's where I want some more out of the coaching process.

And the MO for the Angels has been draft them and put them in the major leagues.

And I think that's hurt them a little bit.
