Christian Kirsch comes over from the OHL's Kitchener Rangers, where in his first season of junior hockey, first and only season of major junior hockey, I should say, he did spend time in the North American Hockey League with the Janesville Jets.

He led them to a Memorial Cup.

This kid's represented Switzerland on two different occasions.

Christian Kirsch was no different.

He peaked at the right time.

He got better and better as the season went on.

Their defense could shut anyone down.

And they got the best goaltending they had all year long from Christian Kirsch in that tournament when you needed him to be the best goaltender coming on through.

I mean, everyone just stepped up.

I mean, they took it to teams.

He's still a point-of-game player, but the goals aren't coming.

that positively regressed and bang, you know, four and four and oh, they, they take it and, and, and win it all.

And, and he's, yeah, definitely like I, I felt like it, obviously Sam O'Reilly had the historic run, but I think between Jack Pridham and Christian Kirsch, I thought that he, you kind of almost had that three-headed monster for Kitchener in that Memorial Cup run.

And I think that's a perfect segue because all of these guys are gone.
