Christadelphians

It's true of the Roman Catholic Church.

It's true of the more direct cults such as Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians.

They all package lies with truth.

They camouflage.

Talmudic Judaism, it's apostate.

And you have mainstream Christendom, Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, The World Council of Churches, now the Church of England, and of course cults like the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians.

You've got that.

Apostate, apostate.

Now I'm going to say some other things here that might upset you a little bit, but so be it.

There's a church down in Canoga called the Christadelphian Church.

Maybe you're familiar with it.

I don't know much.

In part two of Held in His Hands, before finishing our story, we hear from Chris and Martha Sales, who have made multiple mission trips to Kenya through Agape in Action.

We look into what it's really like on the ground, from visiting ecclesias across the country to leading the LIFE program, L-I-F-E. an intensive two-week leadership retreat for young Kenyan Christadelphians.

Chris shares what surprised him and Martha talks about the drama outreach that packed out a hall and together they reflect on the refreshing zeal for the truth that they encountered in Kenya.

Yeah.

So yeah, Just that question it is.

And so for, you know, the Christadelphians there, there's a real, for example, we would have gone there, our young people, and you probably find the same in Australia.

You're talking about, you know, where the young people are at.

He is one of the second coming fanatics, he whispered to Enid.

There are a lot of them, Christadelphians, Russellites, Bible students and what not.

But he was impressive.

Very, said Enid.

Yep.

And I feel like that's a, um, big thing if you grew up, like, in a Christadelphian family, shifting from just doing, like, coming to the meeting because your parents tell you to or wanting to go to Sunday school because of that, but actually, like, developing your own love and faith.

I love that.

So true, right? Learning to love God and the things of God, right, and having it just the way I do a little bit.

You know what I mean? And I just think that that's helpful and encouraging, that that is definitely there embedded in their encouraging faithful stories.

Mm-hmm.

And how are some of the lessons and ideas you've learned from this applicable to the Christadelphian community, especially the young people? I

mean, I can, you know, one class I absolutely loved was the class on Bathsheba, right? Because that's such a catastrophic incident, you know, in the life of David that we can tend to just gloss over, you know, what Bathsheba went through.

The Christadelphians, What They Believe and Preach Chapter 22 Walking with God Discipleship is a journey to the kingdom of God.

Not until the journey is over is the process of salvation completed.

Salvation is not a once-for-all, irreversible happening.

This is a fundamental verse to our faith.

It's what we Christadelphians call memory verses.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed.

It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

However, additional clues of the covenant are given here as well.

Note here that the stars of heaven are mentioned in addition to the sand of the seashore.

Why both, sand and stars? The sand is a representation of a numberless earthly seed that we Christadelphians call natural Israel, whereas the stars are a representation of a numberless heavenly seed that we call spiritual Israel.

Remember that Jesus himself was referred to as the bright and morning star in Revelation 22, verse 6, and the faithful are referred to as stars in Daniel 12, verse 3.
