And unfortunately for armies in particular, that killing happens at intimate ranges.

I think you could make a reasonable case, at least since the end of the Age of Sail, that navies kill at remote distances and those distances have grown as a function of technology.

Is the Army making a considered effort to, I guess, reinforce that help-seeking is a soldier's duty?
