We got to Piano's, and then Sean left us, and we go inside, but then Chris Penny came and showed up and met us.

And, uh, the DJ started spinning, like, dubstep, and that's when I learned that Mark Guiliana loved dubstep.

Before me, we heard Whisper Doll and Blue Bells.

The beat kinda shifts to, to the h- the hits from two and four to just all four beats for the first part of the song, and then it switches to the, in the all that I am part to more of the standard halftime feel, uh, feel, f- uh, standard halftime feel, and it has this sort of, uh, simple little drum fill before the repeat.

And from the drumming perspective, and Devin can chime in on this too, uh, this is a very, very normal Chris Pennie song.

I think he really just kind of played it straight.

He still does a lot of the kind of spice stuff that I like that he does in these songs, little callback pieces or little, little things that he adds.

And y- you're absolutely right, he plays it straightforward, but it, it serves the song so well.

Totally.

And one thing, w- we were talking about the song and the heaviness of it or the, the darkness of it, and I think Chris Pennie's great.

I actually like the percussion, not the percussion, sorry, the production on this record.

So it's very clear that Josh is irreplaceable.

You can get one of the best drummers in the world, literally, and you wouldn't be able to...

You could do well.

but you wouldn't be able to replicate Josh.
