Chris Lilley

And the Jonas Brothers have embraced their trip to Australia by recreating a classic Aussie comedy scene.

Just moments before taking to the stage for their halftime NFL show in Melbourne, the trio recreated Chris Lilley's Coke Zero skit from Summer Heights High with Joe Jonas miming the role of Jermay.

It felt as though I was watching, um, what's his name? We were talking about it earlier.

Chris Lilley?

Yeah, it felt like I was-

Mm

... watching Chris Lilley, and Chris Lilley doing, like, a parody being like, "I'm a great dancer," but it was meant to be a joke, but it wasn't a joke.

And I, I kept waiting for the satire to stop, and I was like, "N- oh, this is not, none of this is meant to be a joke.

This is all legitimate."

[laughs]

And then I also wrote, "Everyone in this seems like they're in a cr- old Chris Lilley comedy."

[laughs]

'Cause everybody seemed like a character.

Like I mentioned I was with Oakley.

Like, you know, they used to have this Oakley party and, you know, I remember going there and, you know, who's who of the Oakley athletes were there and, you know, I was rubbing shoulders with Sean White, Ryan Schreckler and Robbie McEwen, all these like gun Oakley athletes and like just cool experiences like that and, you know, Uh, I remember Chris Lilly was there, you know, and I remember hanging out with him and having a beer.

It was just like, just the people you meet along the way.

It's crazy.

Of course you did

... are like a walking Chris Lilly sketch.

Like they are-

Yeah

Yeah.

But he looks like a Chris Lilley character.

He's got, he's got two different parts to his body.

He's, he's a game of two halves, isn't he? He's-- The bottom part, same legs that he had when he was playing for South Africa.

Um, love Percy Montgomery.

Uh, but since we're talking about Chris Lilley, Chris Lilley as well.
