Cause you think, Hey, that guy's going to do really well this year and, or somebody that again, nobody's looking at, but you think they should.

Well, a guy that I, I want, I went to my draft wanting just cause I think he's, you know, he's one of those military guys right now, but I think he has a chance to jump into the top seven or eight wide receivers.

It's Jalen Waddle switching teams, um, He kind of reminds me of playing like that Michael Thomas role that Sean Payton likes so much.

Plus, like he's got also that downfield threat that Bo Nix has that skill set that he likes to throw downfield.

So I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.

Guys like Parker Washington, Josh Downs.

He's going to get a lot of targets.

Chris, what do you got for your overall drafting philosophy?

How do you- What do you think about the direction of the Mavericks and where they're trying to go? Do you like the direction that they're headed in?

It, it seems, again, like from, from the outside looking in as of right now, it seems like they're headed into a youth movement, and, and, you know, that's, I think that's what you should probably be doing right now with Cooper Flagg and the, the new rookie they have coming in.

But I, I wanna say this about, you know, Coop.

I think Coop has tremendous strides to take that next jump to legitimately be an All-Star.

Um, from what I've been hearing, he's having a great off-season, and people have tell me like they're just impressed with how his work ethic is and how he's trying to, you know, take that next leap going into his second season.

So I think the Dallas Mavericks are gonna be really sur- I'll, I'll say surprised, but I think they're gonna be really inspired by the work that Coop put in the off-season, that he's gonna, that's gonna translate to the regular season.

And guys are gonna take notice, and that's what you want from your best player, and it's also great to have your best player be a leader, too, and I think Coop is trying to evolve into that as well.

What are you hearing about those guys and their potential futures with Dallas going forward?

Does Boston have something in the tank ready to go, or do you see any other big moves coming?

Yeah, I think if Boston makes any moves moving forward now, it'll be around the edges.

This was their super move right here.

And they feel pretty good.

I spoke with people over there today.

They feel really good about how they position themselves.

They like the structure of their roster moving forward into next season.

... ultimately the D- Detroit Pistons will have to make a decision and, and see what's in their best interest if, if they can't get anywhere close on an extension.

And then likely for the Kings, what will they have to send out on something like...

I mean, I think the obvious, you look at what Detroit has done.

They've already got rid of Isaiah Stewart.

Um, and so, um, you look at, I don't know that, I don't know that they're re-signing Tobias Harris.

So they've already, you know, losing some key pieces to that team.

Uh, and then one thing I found out, you know, so 2010 was my first year covering league.

And I found out then that, um, you know, you can be easily be used at that time.

And I remember that because, talking about being on a rotisserie, I was on the rotisserie.

So I'm curious, this off-season, number one team you're watching for to do something big this summer?

But I don't know if this is analytics or is this just gut feeling of making moves or not making moves?

And I think one time we asked Steph, you know, about that conversation.

And, you know, he said something funny, but it was kind of like the, uh, to add fire to the flames.

What's your sense of what the preferred path is for the Ma- Mavericks?

Yeah.

San Antonio Spurs.

Uh, the list would go on and on.

Minnesota Timberwolves.

And so ultimately, I think for Giannis, wherever he lands, I think preferably it would ...

You know, I think he would like to have some sun, he would like to be probably in a, in a, in a big market.

Right.

... and want to see what he's trying to do.

Got an update on Steph Curry's hamstring?

DP, he, he's fighting valiantly to get back.

Um, you have to, you know, let's think about Stephen Curry, one of the fiercest warriors we have in this league, one of the toughest competitors we have.

On the, I, I would say he probably has more down years left than prime years at this point.

So, uh, he is really doing everything behind the scenes to try to get back expeditiously.

And the team right now, they're trying to be cautious.

They don't want to create a spark in trying to say that Steph will be back by game five or whatever.

And I don't know, I don't know, am I being fair to Jayson Tatum by saying he's not a star, he is one of the, you know, five to seven greatest players in the game?

I don't know if the Hawks are at that point where they go, "You know, maybe we're better off without Trae Young." What do you think?
