Glasgow Tigers skipper Chris Harris has put himself in the Speedway record books once again.

The 43-year-old clinched his fourth successive British Masters grass track title at Much Hoole earlier this month.

Harris put in a faultless performance in Lancashire as he scored a full maximum on the day, becoming the first rider ever to win four titles in a row.

He was joined on the podium by James Shanes, who is himself a four-time champion and has raced for Edinburgh in the WSRA NDL this season, and former Tigers teammate Max Perry.

This latest success comes just weeks after Harris made history by becoming the first-ever rider to compete at 1,200 official British League meetings.

Just as we was going off-air two weeks ago, there was a little match between Glasgow and Plymouth.

been teammates haven't they obviously they were teammates at Coventry when they won the league in 2010 so a pull I mean, we know obviously both of them are very competitive roaders.

So, yeah.

But having seen it, I don't think there was anything in the accusations made against Chris.

And as I say, the playoffs work and they're exciting and it's a terrific way to finish the season off.

I think as well, if Kingsland don't make it, it does once again open the door for Chris Harris to make another Premiership Playoff guest appearance, which he tends to rock up to the party at this time of year.

Well, it wouldn't be the playoffs without him.

You simply can't have the playoffs without Chris Bomaharis coming in.
