How did this themed album come around between you and another band? Like, how does that happen? That's kinda sick.

Uh, so, um, Drew, our, our guitar player, and Chop wrote the album toget- the music together.

Um, and when it came time to do lyrical stuff, uh, we didn't think it was feasible for Chop and I to write together just because I'm so busy all the time, uh, and it would be better if I took, like, one side and he took one side.

Uh, and because of that, we were trying to think of something where we'd have a singular idea, but we were trying to do, like, two separate takes on that idea.

Uh, and we threw a bunch of stuff back and forth and nothing was sticking.

Uh, and I had just bought the Artifacts cycle to read and possibly do a full length for CNX Tuesday based on it.

Uh, so I just threw that i- idea out there not knowing that Chop had already read Brothers' War and a lot of the earlier Magic novels, and that he was all about it.
