So I'm wondering if you wanted to just like, I guess, define self-compassion and the way that you talk about it when you're doing this

work.

Yeah.

That sounds great.

And it's interesting because many years ago, a neuroscientist said to me, you know, your brain is always trying to compare similarities and differences.

So maybe you will start with what it's not.

And I think that helped me a lot.

So the work of self-compassion is difficult, but the outcomes are so worth it when we're ready

Sheeds would have been happy that no one was leaving at halftime.

Yeah.

It sort of takes me back to my first year.

You know, below terrible.

And we didn't win one.

I made my debut in round eight.

It was 0-8. after that round, and then obviously we got our first win a week later in round nine, so yeah, it's definitely a long wait, and I'll tell you, Collingwood celebrated, you know, the fans, the Magpie Army, they celebrated as if it was the premiership for 05, but you go through those tough times as a football club, and that shapes you for who you are in the future, and sometimes So, you know, being down and out like that is sometimes going to be your greatest success as well because there's so many learnings from behind it.

But Collingwood... collingwood have got a good winning record at adelaide oval so it's just an amazing game and i can't wait to um to watch that one it's gonna definitely have eyes on the screen

What would be your least favorite thing you had to do? Paperwork?

Paperwork ranks right up there, for sure.

And paperwork has gotten deeper and deeper as the years have gone on.

Definitely a strong dislike for redundant paperwork.

And non-redundant paperwork, just long reports and lengthy reports.

They're all legal documents that are going to be potentially testified to at court.

So, you know, it's not like you just write stuff down and take a name and a date of birth and you call it good.

Definitely good stuff.

What was, uh...

Well, how long were you there? Almost two weeks? Two weeks? 20, 27 days, Mike.

Wow.

27 days.

Almost a month.

All right.

And Mike and Brock, to watch those two games up close, up personal, to be at the practices, to see what hockey means to the rest of the world.

I mean, I think it was day two at the Olympics and I, I was sent to four practices to go get US players, get Canadian players.

Um, there was some U- uh, NHL players playing for Sweden and Finland, and there was 30 members of the media there from Sweden for their practice, and you realize how big this is in other countries.

but on the North Hill, the FME, Five Mill and Edgewood, they were playing it.

Um, but you know, the night before Saturday, just to kind of really quickly paint the picture, NBC was only allowing so many journalists into this venue.
