you said it all so perfectly i love this moment as well and just this really sweet relationship that they have between the two of them and just like the warmth he has towards her is really beautiful to see especially coming off of um the brigadier's death being mentioned and the wedding of riversong like that's what caused the doctor to face his death again i say in air quotes but But to see that legacy continued here, it was such like a genius bit of writing.
