Chris Bey

Coming to the st- stage first, he is a former TNA X Division and TNA Tag Team champion.

Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Chris Bey.

Yeah.

[clapping] Woo.

Yeah

...

Chris Bey, uh, you've, you know, you've been in the business for quite some time, seen people cut a lot of vicious and gut-wrenching promos.

What are, what are you looking for? What's gonna impress you this evening?

No.

No, it's Chris Bey, baby.

Oh, that's Chris Bey?

That's Chris Bey, baby.

He was there watching-

Okay

Yeah.

Yeah, that's-

Yeah.

At Slammiversary on July 17th, 2021, Alexander successfully retained the X-Division Championship in an Ultimate X match against Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Petey Williams, Rohit Raju, and Trey Miguel.

Alexander then retained the title against Black Taurus at Homecoming, against Jake Something at Emergence, and against Chris Sabin in, at Victory Road.

Later that night at Victory Road, Alexander confronted Impact World Champion Christian Cage, invoking Option C to relinquish his X-Division Championship for a world title match in the main event of Bound for Glory.

Yeah, I knew that was recently.

Sami Callihan defeated Steve Maclin.

Uh, Honor No More, which was Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, PCO, and Vincent, uh, with Maria Kanellis, uh, defeated Bullet Club of Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Hi- Hikuleo.

How do you say his name?

[laughs] Ev- it's just every once in a while somebody will come in and do something kinda cool.

Or Chris Bey dies or something.

[laughs] The last thing I-

Yeah

That's a bar.

And it's even sadder because I saw a tweet from Chris Bay this week.

Good tweet.

We love Chris Bay over here.

What a guy, man.

What a journey he's had in pro wrestling.

Uh, Triple H shared the picture of Rick holding up the [laughs] toilet seat with Triple H's face inside it that says, "Triple H is crap." Uh, you saw people like Rusev and AJ Francis, uh, tribute, make tributes as well.

Chris Bey.

But I love the, the Shane Helms, [laughs] the Shane Helms tribute where he said that he went up to Rick who had a sign that said, "Helms is God." And then as he went to acknowledge it, [laughs] Rick unfolded it and it said, "Helms is god awful." [laughs] Oh, my God.

That's, that's good humor right there.

I mean, again, I'm never going to throw shade to anyone who's going to be willing to put their body on the line of the ring.

This just happened to be one of those things, whereas Chris Bay once said it's a game of inches.

And he's not wrong.

You know, I saw that match.

I mean, stunted like ace Austin was a guy on the, on the come up.

And, um, even when Chris Bay got injured, you know, ace Austin kept going forward and it was a good chance.

He made his decision.

I got, I got no criticism of him doing what he thought or feels is best for his life.

Could have been his wife,

Chris.

Shout out to Chris.

Love her.

She's the best.

Every other month, usually, Sammy runs Pro Wrestling Revolver down in Dayton.

I kind of like Dayton's kind of like my de facto like home promotion because a lot of my friends come through and wrestle there, whether it's, you know, Trey Miguel, Junie Underwood, Ace Austin's a close personal friend of mine.

When he was active, Chris Bay is one of my absolute best friends.
