How does this happen? Do you have an example of this? And then when do people realize, "Hey, there's a problem"?
5:04
Yeah.
5:04
We've seen this, you know, obviously I, the majority of the work we do with our clients at AgView Solutions and, and Farm Profit Managers is around the idea of financials and transition and team health, and those are the areas.
5:20
And to get into a specific example, I mean, I could give you 50 of them.
5:24
I'll just pull one, one off the shelf here.
5:27
But, you know, it's, it's usually an economic thing that creates the most stress [clears throat] because if you, for example, have a leadership team of four people, and they can be related or not related, if they're related, that creates a whole nother layer of, of challenges because you have all the emotion in it.
5:44
But, um, you know, the example I will give you is they were related.

And to me, one of the core, uh, additions to my business that has really helped me out has been having somebody coordinate how ideas and people come together, timelines.
7:45
farming operation is different?
7:47
Yeah.
7:47
Well, no.
7:48
What I am going to tell you is... is that we all deal with a lot of the same challenges in the sense that we need land to farm.
7:58
However, there are lots of ways to access land to farm.
8:03
And one of them is purchase, one of them is rent, one of them is collaborations, working with other operations and spreading your capital over more acres in that way.
8:13
There's several different ways to think out of the box.

But that mindset prison that prevails, it seems to me on return to management, because any other business, if I had, and I always use the example by an overhead garage door company here in Indiana, uh, I would probably be better about making sure that the $2 million of investment I had in warehouse, trucks, installation equipment, inventory, whatever, I would look at that every day and say, what am I getting off of this? But it seems like that's where we drop the ball and pull the farmer math routine, right? And if that's the case, how do we fix it?
