Um, do you, would you, do you think I'm being dramatic, or is it maybe time to lower expectations right now?

Well, I asked that of Chris Albright last week, um, because, I mean, I know they're excited about the two guys they signed, but there's still quest- I mean, those guys aren't here y- well, David Dodder- Doderer is, is here, but he's gonna have to leave to get his visa.

He doesn't have his visa, so he can't play yet.

And, uh, Julian, there's no update on when he will be here, but just given the lateness of those signings and the fact that, you know, we don't know when they're getting implemented, I just felt like, uh ...

So Chris also, um, the day we spoke to him, Thursday, before any of this came out, um, 'cause I was able to report it on Friday.

I found out that Matt Miazga had been released and was going through an exit physical.

Um, we spoke to the Chris Albright the day before that, and he mentioned that they were getting close on a couple, they had a couple of free agent targets, and you can sign free agents up until the roster freeze date, um, October 9th.

And he mentioned that there was a player that became available to them that would not have been available in previous years when the window closed earlier.

Ben Olsen would be three.

Peter Vagenas, Chris Albright, Ramiro Corrales, Landon Donovan, that's four.

Sasha Victorine, Evan Whitfield, Josh Wolff, Conor Casey, Tim Howard.

And he said, they're not, they aren't concerned about the injuries that actually ended up making it a better deal for them.

They were able to get a good, what they feel is a good player, you know, on a decent being alone.

And then just like a personal group chat I'm in, you know, I, I think maybe this is up to the GM to decide, but if you got in a sense of, you know, they, they have more than one center back problem.

So, you know, for Julian, is this putting Geedy back in the midfield or is this maybe taking Matt out of the starting 11 or is this too soon to tell?

It probably is a little too soon to tell, but I was going back through what Chris Albright was saying today.

It was a 32-minute press conference, so I feel like I was trying to dive into it a little bit, and there was just so much there.

And I think that's been the oddity is watching some of the decisions that they've made is a product of the window being as tight as it is down to the bottom.

We heard Chris Albright talk about and we know that they're going to switch the alignment next summer.

And how does that look and how does that change the ability for MLS to compete? I think Cincinnati is going to be one of the 1A tier clubs that's going to look to take advantage of that once that alignment does happen.

But in the meantime, still a lot of Band-Aids trying to protect this roster.

But you get a guy that was in the Bundesliga.

again he's played like 500 minutes overall and not a ton of matches i think like 33 34 appearances right but again at that such high of a level you know so let's see what he can do you know in the mls um in at this level and how does he kind of compare that uh you know the physically and then being able to play with the guys around him so intrigued to see it but hey chris albright He made a move.
