Chloe Okuno

The film has a run time of one hour and 36 minutes.

It was directed by Chloe Okuno who I knew prior to this because she directed the short film Slut, which I did discuss on...

I mean, the now deceased Alter tapes podcasts but I think-

So anyway, in 2017, this script, which at the time was not called Woman of the Hour but instead was called Rodney and Cheryl, was on The Black List.

And a few years after that, four years after that, in 2021, Netflix acquired the script with Anna Kendrick attached as its star and Chloe Okuno to direct.

Production was only six weeks out when Okuno dropped out, and I'm not sure why she dropped out, but Anna Kendrick saw her opportunity, I, I believe.

She threw her hat in the ring, said she was up for the challenge, making the leap from acting to directing.
