And so I, i don't think i've ever shot a doe that wasn't pregnant um any time of the year i don't know about you but i most the most of the axis does that i've shot i get into and they're pregnant uh be it september be it july be it february like they're always pregnant because of their gestation and how they do it you gotta think they were competing against tigers from where axis originate from right So it's like they had to, if they, if all the does got pregnant at the same time and the rut always happened at the same time, the predators would know when the time was that they would, you know, just like the elk herds, when they go into, into their rut and their birthing season, more wolves and predators come into that area because they're migrating with the herd during that time.

Like with access, they don't.

i just assumed like when they brought them to the states it screwed up their breeding cycle and then they have like they got it all jacked up and had you know you could be breeding any time of the year no that's interesting so it's just a continual cycle even in their native homeland of india
