Chip Foose

Well,

you guys did have the relationship with Chip Foose for a while.

Chip Foose.

We still have a very good relationship with Dynamat.

You'll see some stuff coming from videos that we'll be making with Dynamat.

Where it came from is just kind of growing up, like most of my automotive impressions really came from sort of TV-based stuff, even MTV.

So like watching Chris Jacobs and Chip Foose, watching auction replays on Sunday, making pancakes with my dad in the middle of nowhere.

Like that's, you know, the stuff that I remember.

And then, you know, he had his own cars that I grew up working on.

And so there's those core memories.

But yeah, some of the individuals, like I said, I remember Chip Foose, Chris Jacobs, even watching Can Dig It and stuff, trying to go to school.

a lot of the build content.

It wasn't even so much hardcore reviews.

Wonderful.

And then the next week is the car show, October 17th, and Chip Foose is coming, Richard Rawlings is coming.

Dave Hall from Restore and Mus- Musclecar is coming.

Bonspeed Wheels, we're busy right now.

Right now we're making some wheels for Michael Anthony's 57 Nomad that's over at Chip Foose's shop.

Oh, yeah.

He sent it over there to have a few things freshened up, and we talked about it and decided to do some new wheels, so we're doing some wheels for him.

Yeah, it's written down.

I don't know if you saw, Sean, where I tagged you with a video of Bob Gurr and Chip Foose.

No.

So first, Chip Foose takes an Autopia car from the 60s that somehow he got He's making it street legal, and he wanted Bob Gurr to come okay his drawings.

So it led to Bob Gurr inviting Chip Foose to Disneyland, and it's him on a scooter, and Chip Foose is walking with him, and he's explaining about how they made the fire truck.

They used a two-stroke engine so it gets the wobble and the shake right, and then they go drive the Autopia cars.

He's explaining all the cars... that he built or the ride systems that he built just walking through the park.

Don't get me wrong.

But also, like, you're Australia's Chip Foose, so that's sort of where you've gone, isn't it?

Yeah, that was a whole, like, that was my, like, the dream.

Like that I set out years ago.

So, we spoke about your art gallery.

We've spoken about your art.

You are pretty much the second coming of Chip Foose.

But you're coming towards the end of your car art.

You got like Dave Kindig on there.

You got Chip Foose.

You got other people on your hat, man.

You don't want, you know, me on your hat.

Oh.

I was going to do a hour of show yesterday with Chip Foose from 9:00 to 10:00, and we were gonna pre-record it live from the Triple Crown of Rotting, which is going on right now.

Sure.

And then play it this morning so that it would be, like, a promo remote for them for people that want to go to the show right now.

I liked his style.

I, I like Chip Foose.

I like what he does to vehicles.

I just love that artist and what they do and create.
