I know we actually, my wife and I, we flew China Airlines.

It was, now this was going to Bali actually.

So it was San Francisco to Taipei and then on to Bali all in one ticket.

It's so efficient and fast.

But there was no transit counter set up.

I feel like if you're arriving Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo in the evening, flying out at 6 a.m. the next morning is kind of ridiculous and very tiring and exhausting by the time you get back and forth.

And the U.S. airlines just decided not to fly as many of the city pairs that are available to them.

And so I think there's some China airlines that are flying here and we're not reciprocating because, yeah, probably it's just not profitable.

And as a result, there's just not as much competition, which is ironic because you'd think if there was less competition, then it would become more profitable and then it would drive down.

But what do I know? It's been a while since my econ class happened.

You've got what, China Southern, Xiamen, and then maybe there's a third.

China Airlines.

Yeah, China Airlines.

And China Air's flight for three months out was $619 plus tax.

Came in to well under $700.

I'm like, wow.

So I booked it immediately.
