real success where you had quite a big grant from yeah children in need wasn't it

yes we did we are incredibly happy that we were chosen the grant itself from bbc children in need was sixty thousand pound over three years so twenty thousand down a year And the application process itself was involved to support with the activities for the children that we have in our care.

And we couldn't be happier that it costs around £60,000 a year for the activities for the children in our care.

And the £20,000 over the three years will be an incredible amount to contribute into some of the amazing activities that we have.

So I've had lots of appointments recently.

I've been appointed to the board of BBC Children in Need, which is a massive charity in the UK.

I've got a ministerial appointment to Skills Development Scotland.

I'm full with my consultancy, like, you know, like, oh, this is amazing.

Mm-hmm.

Number three, various artists from BBC Children In Need, Perfect Day.

It's not meant to be.

But I remember seeing Amy Winehouse at Children in Need years later and going over to introduce myself.

She went, I know who you are, Sarah K.

I remember we did like a, we did the Children in Need single one year and we were doing like the tour, you know, like the press tour and the promo tour going around the radio stations and things like that.

And I remember we went to, it was a BBC radio station.

It wasn't Radio 1, it was like a local, you know, like Leicester or something like that.

doing this interview and the woman that was interviewing was she was so she was she was just rude you know i mean she was just like going on and and one of the things she said she was really pissing me off and i was like i was boiling you know because i just had enough of it at this point you know and she said something i mean what's she said this she was like i mean what's even the point of the boys in the group or something like that and i was like what the i just like lost it in the because i thought well you know what you might think that or whatever but We're here trying to promote a charity single for children in need.

So you get shit like that.

And after a little while, especially when I'm a singer, I'd like to think I'm all right at it.

We got an invite there, so we did.

And I'm so confident of this that I am willing to donate 12p.

per shot on target to the BBC Children in Need appeal.

So off the back of the stats from the two matches we've played so far, who have we played? We've played Swansea away and we've played Sheffield United away.

So we have had, in those two games, three shots on target that is 36p i am personally going to donate children in need and that means there's i don't know a child in wigan who's gonna get half a packet of fizzy turrets because jay stansfield chose to have us like 25 yarder and it's just like look i'm good for the money look i tell you what i'll round it up for a quid the killer will be shots on target we may come back to this point So we go to Sheffield United, who we played three times last season.
