We've got Childline here in the UK.

I think it's something similar in the States.

People you can talk to.

You know, I think there is a really exciting opportunity to make the UK the best place in the world to be online.

I was thinking about with Childline years ago, I used to work in child protection and for a lot of children, you know, not having, when I was growing up, if you had a problem in your home and You would have to go down the road, find a phone box and ring Childline.

Now children can ask for help from the safety of their own bedrooms.

And so the internet can be an enormous force for good.

But we've all got to stand up and fight.

haven't we we've got to recognise that hand sign that needs to be something that has to be rolled out everywhere everybody needs to be aware of that because we don't know when we're walking along when we're in a street or a shop we don't necessarily know that that child may well not actually be with their parent for a start and we don't know we had something launched here years ago called Childline And it was a very, I can't remember it, but it was a very simple number.

It was something like 1111.

It was quite an easy number for children to remember.

but even so like it's still been they've still put the credits on and broadcast it which they yeah but by that time you know that it's not real anyway so it doesn't matter yeah um Yeah, I do.

Especially, you know, when he starts joking about Childline.

I do question, like, how can anyone think that this would really get aired? Because, yeah, and I'm sure Ben at this point was, like, so shocked and was, like, couldn't believe it that this was being said.

I chair that Alliance and round that table we have a range of charities who work together on suicide prevention.

So I'm really proud to work with Gypsums, Clubhouse, Childline, Mental Welfare Society and GHA Mental Health Services and through that alliance we've worked outwards into Walking Together who are the bereaved survivors of families and friends who've had people sadly die from suicide and we're delighted to have worked with them on this campaign.

Sean, remind us a little bit about your

background and how you've come to be involved in this campaign.

What would you say to someone who's listening or watching this today and they're struggling with their mental health? What's the first point of call that they should reach out to?

There is always help available for people.

If you're in the children, younger age groups, we work closely with Childline.

Childline are producing their own materials and social media around this campaign that they'll be launching later today.

to the Internet Watch Foundation.

If a young person under 18 of those, like if it's someone under 18's image report remove, Childline and IWF work together.

It gets content taken down without the child having to speak to the police first.

Brilliant service, right? In the US, it's NCMEX.

It's conversation.

Talk to your kids, build the relationship so they come to you when something goes wrong.

And every penny from a paid subscription from his newsletter goes to Childline.

And, and, I'm sure this week I seen that Super Nanny follows him, so it must be good.
