So logically, that would carry over to clinical work as well.

So that's the clarity that he provided compared to the second edition because he's basically saying this really isn't an option.

and what do we teach a child if we say okay you've chosen not to have your play time for the rest of the day well we teach them that they can use that to their advantage if they don't want to come and play then man that's their ticket out but we've also taught them that we don't have the tolerance to be patient and wait for them to regulate themselves We've taught them that we actually do have expectations because if you're choosing not to do what I'm asking you to do, then you're choosing not to be able to play today.
