So how do you make sure the right information is actually heard? Well, today I'm excited because I am joined by Renee Rodriguez.

She is the founder of Best Foot Forward Consulting, and she's a creator of the Custody Blueprint.

Her work really centers on the part of the custody process that a lot of parents never see coming.

This is how evaluators interpret what is presented to them and how a parent's preparation, not just their side of the story, shapes the outcome.

So, um, during my drinking, um, after I had my second son, um, Custody was taken from me and I had to fight in court for the rights as a father for my son.

And that was a really hard time because during that time, I was my own worst enemy.

And during one of those caped crusader moments, when I thought I was there to fix the problems of other people, I actually did get in an altercation and got hit with jail time for physically assaulting another human.
