Now, the reason why this is important is because the states that are at the core of this production, Sinaloa, is at the heart of the Golden Triangle.

Whether it's Durango, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, that's where you had the epicenter of of the distribution.

And of note here is that NORTHCOM publicly crediting the Joint Interagency Task Force counter cartel alongside Mexican security services.

Now, while the U.S. relationship between the United States with Mexico under the Scheinbaum administration is Undoubtedly complex.

This operation, and more importantly, the public announcement indicate that at some levels, the relationship between the United States is friendly and definitely producing results.

And that is definitely a callback to the administrator of the DEA in his recent comments about some Mexican security officials.

Now, expect increased but short-term violence in the state of Chihuahua as the power vacuum is fought over.

Now, elevated Sinaloa cartel activity in Chihuahua State is more probable than not moving forward over the next 30 days.

En primer lugar, en Chihuahua, en abril de este año, en la madrugada, dos personas murieron en el barran-- en el barranco de la sierra Tarahumara.

El vehículo en el que viajaban cayó al precipicio mientras regresaban de un operativo de desmantelamiento de narcolaboratorios.

Ahora, según las fuentes citadas por CNN, esas dos personas eran agentes de una rama de la CIA.

Se encontraron cincuenta y cinco mil litros de precursores químicos y dos mil litros de metanfetamina, pues lo que se encuentra en un laboratorio.

Pero la muerte de estos agentes abrió una investigación incómoda.

¿Por qué? ¿Por-- qué hacían ahí? ¿Cómo pasó? ¿Quiénes eran? ¿Qué, qué pasa con que la CIA estuviera ahí? ¿Por qué no se sabía? Que, digo, todas estas cosas son como investigaciones más secretas, pero lo que pasó después fue que la gobernadora de Chihuahua, Maru Campos, dijo que no sabía que extranjeros estarían presentes.

Y la fiscal Wendy Chávez, a quien Campos se encargó de investigar este caso de estos agentes que fallecieron, publicó un informe el 13 de mayo en donde ella no reconoció que estos fueran agentes de la CIA, pero sí confirmó que personas extranjeras habían estado en las instalaciones de la Fiscalía de Chihuahua al menos dos veces antes de la operación.
