Chiefs Hall of Fame

So, yeah.

All right, so we're speaking with Derek Johnson, who was inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame on Sunday night.

All right, DJ, brag on your kids for a little bit.

I'm going to guess you have some pretty good athletes in your family.

Right.

You know what? None of us know.

But I tell you what I'm thinking right now, that you are a Chiefs Hall of Famer, and we're glad to talk to you, and hopefully we can catch up.

It was great to see you at Arrowhead on Sunday, and I'm glad that you got so much love from the fans because you will always be one of the fan favorites, not only for how you were on the field, but how you were in this community and off the field.

Here's another sidetrack on the sidetrack.

Seeing Derek Johnson be inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame at halftime and seeing Jamal Charles there, the Chiefs tweeted out a picture of Jamal and Derek Johnson, and it made me a little emotional.

Not even in a sad way, but it was just like, oh man, those guys meant so much to to I I'm sure many of us meant so much to me at such a impressionable time in my football fandom to, to see those guys like getting together.

And then to see the clip I saw this morning of Kelsey going over and, and, you know, dapping up with Jamal.

I couldn't read all of it.

Apparently at the Chiefs Hall of Fame at Arrowhead, they have a football from Ground Zero, a Chiefs football that somebody had in their office or something, and it was recovered from the rubble, and they have it in the Chiefs Hall of Fame.

And the Hunt family is pretty serious about 9-11 in America.

I've got to give them credit.
