She has faced public scrutiny over her position on the board and her legal representation of former Miss Universe Nigeria runner-up Chidimma Adetshina in proceedings involving South African authorities.

Are you seeing the problem? You see where the problem is? The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs has acknowledged receiving public submissions, raising concerns about a perceived conflict of interest.

Who is she representing? The same person that was defending Chidimma is the same person that must now go there and advise us on immigration law.

And then there's the developing story, of course, of the decision made yesterday by the Constitutional Court around asylum seekers.

And, uh, the fact that if anybody, whether they have entered the country legally or not, whether or not they have been in the country for more than five days without announcing their presence in the country, makes me realize that the Chadema case is already fait accompli.

I mean, uh, sh- she entered the country illegally, right? Mm-hmm.

Um, she was not supposed to be in the country, but she entered the country illegally through the, um, Mozambique border without any regard for the fact that she was not supposed to be in the country legally.
