Brandon OgbornHOST
26:51
Yeah, I
John AhernHOST

And I, one time I was on a trip, and this little girl in Mexico came up and said, "You wanna to buy a Chiclet, goma?" [laughs] And I was like, "Oh, I'll buy the whole box." And she was just like, "What?" She went and got three people who spoke English and said, "Are you sure? That's $20." I'm like, "Yeah, I'm sure." So I bought it, the box of 100 Chiclets, and I left a little note on everybody's desk with a little Chiclet that said, "We have no idea how important one little teeny action or one little act of kindness makes a difference in our customers' lives," because at dinner, like three hours later, her mother found me in a restaurant and said, "You fed our whole family for the week." And so it's powerful, these little touches, and I cannot tell you how many staff members stopped by my office and were like, "I've never had a vice president say hello to me or acknowledge me, and this is the most meaningful thing I've ever had," which, you know, I don't care what I'm called, it's leading real humans [laughs] and acknowledging them and being connected to them in a simple way.
Sally MildrenGUEST
28:20

Christine CourtneyHOST

Chiclets are the great, the great freaking... 1935, it falls within my 1914, 1948 bookend.
Joshua AdamsPANELIST
16:56
Chiclets are a great...
Joshua AdamsPANELIST
16:56
Chiclets are the first sets produced, and those are, those are made to sell gum also.
Joshua AdamsPANELIST
17:00
So that just strengthens my thesis that it's 1914, 1948.
Joshua AdamsPANELIST
17:05
So thank you.
David ChasePANELIST
17:42
How, how wide can a golden era be? Because 1914 to 1948 is, seems like a pretty wide e- like a 30-year era almo- I'm not arguing with that, saying it's not right.
Zak PaineHOST
71:41
And, um, it, it, it, its, its mouth had teeth.
Zak PaineHOST
