Chick Corea Elektric Band

Uh-huh.

And then even got, started listening to, like, Chick Corea Electric Band and, you know, that kinda stuff, and started getting into fusion jazz.

And then it's like, oh, this is really cool.

I'm digging all that, so.

Their stage was probably next to nothing, because the Academy carries you.

So I think I was fortunate, because I think the next one I went to was like an outdoor festival, and that was the Chick Corea Electric Band.

I have no recollection of seeing them.

I think we were so far in the back, and it was all standing on a tent.

And then I had periods where I was really into big band, Glenn Miller, and straight ahead piano jazz and stuff like that.

So I went through all the cycles of the jazz history.

What was the first jazz album that you bought? Do you remember? Chick Corea Electric Band, Inside Out on cassette.

That's one of the wonderful things about music.

He has a great variety of different songs, you know.

There's the Chick Corea Elektric Band that is probably my favorite sonically speaking because there's Frank Gambale playing.

Oh, wow.

There's like, of course there's the rock element, uh, as well.

There's distortion element that I like.

Um, also the first Chick Corea Elektric Band albums were, I, I think on some of the, uh, songs there was also Scott Henderson playing.

And then of course, the, another big influence is Pat Metheny.

When I'm playing clean, for example, there is a, there are a lot of Pat Metheny lines.
